If you're looking for great pho come here I've been coming for years and every other pho restaurant that I've been to does not compare at all. I've always gotten the Pho chin with the pork spring rolls and never changed my order for the past 6 years that I've been dining in.

Tu Hai has amazing food. I prefer the Lemongrass Chicken and Spring Rolls with their homemade hot sauce. Just have cash on hand they don't accept credit cards.

My go to for Vietnamese food. Pho in the winter and grilled pork vermicelli when it's not cold. They're cash only but you can pay w Venmo. Don't overlook it bc it's pretty obscure. It falls into my "the best Vietnamese food is not in a fancy place". It's always packed at lunch with a wide variety of clientele.

As a professional concierge for over 20 years, food is my business and when it comes to Bun Thit Nuong ( pork vermicelli ) and Banh Mi Bo Kho ( like an Irish stew or caldo de res ) while sipping on my Cafe Sua Da (iced milk coffee) which I call a drink and dessert in one, there is NO substitute for TU HAI which is a very friendly, reasonable, wholesome place of which I've been going to since 1986 or before... Also, don't forget to wish Chef Lee Ho a very happy birthday!!! GET there early for LUNCH or later, you'll see why!!! Doesn't look like much when you pass by but when you pop in it's an nice place with amazing pho for a good price. I order 2 large beef phos and it was obsoletely delicious. I got my food extremely quickly, within 10 mins. Forewarning this place only takes cash.

So this restaurant is unfortunately hidden away compared to some of the other vietnamese options in Haltom city, but you would be heartbroken if you missed this place. A cash (and now Venmo) joint, Tu Hai has some of the crispiest Bahn xeo in the area, perfectly crisp and filled with shrimp and pork. If you've never had these delicate crispy pancakes, you're missing out. Use the lettuce and cilantro as your "taco" and chow down with some fish sauce for a great comforting meal. I didn't think I could finish 2 of them, but since they are so thin and crispy I think most people can manage. We also shared the traditional spring rolls, which were exceptionally fresh and soft. My friend had the stir fried chicken with rice, and it came out incredibly hot, and the veggies still maintained that lovely balance of cook that yields a slightly crunchy broccoli. Price-wise, this place is a deal, with great dishes, a startling large menu, and run by some awesome people. I'm glad they've started to accept alternative payment modes, as remembering to get cash is always an issue with me! I would recommend that you dine-in rather than take out for the best experience.
